Police rescue woman locked up by in-laws

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia - The National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) has commended the Jeddah police for their quick response to help a young woman imprisoned in her house by her father-in-law. “Unjustified restriction of the freedom of anyone is a crime to be punished by law. It is against Shariah being applied in the Kingdom,” member of the society Maatouk Al-Sharif told Arab News. He said in
